OUR MINISTRY
Every ministry in our church is oriented toward the glory of God and personal growth. In the discipleship culture and warm atmosphere, we delight in serving those in need, where everyone can feel welcome and accepted, with the opportunity to develop and grow spiritually.
Kid's Ministry
Kids love it at Chicago SDA Church Chicago!!! And that’s because they’re highly loved and valued by our staff and volunteers. The nursery is well-equipped and led by loving caregivers. Preschoolers and elementary-age kids have a blast learning about Jesus in a kid-friendly environment. And students take part in small groups in homes and do all kinds of fun stuff. Jesus took great care of children, and His listeners often exhorted each other to act lovingly toward the smallest: “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child, shall not enter it.” (Mark 10:14-15). We want every child to feel welcome and accepted in our church as in your home. Each program, story, poem or prayer is told with love, with attention focused on the correct development of a child’s character in accordance with biblical principles.

Prayer Ministry

Martin Luther said: “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” Therefore, prayer is the breath of the soul. It is one of the most important spiritual disciplines. Our Church firmly believes in the power of prayer, because time spent in prayer is never wasted.
Join us each Wednesday at 6:30 pm, for our small-discipleship-prayer group “The Spirit of Revival”. Along with a short devotional and biblical discussions, we pray for our country, peace and prosperity, the sick, the weak and discouraged, our neighborhood, as well as for personal needs and for our families; but above all, for the Holy Spirit and the spirit of revival.
Radio's Ministry
Our radio program "Stazama nade" has existed since 2003 and is broadcast on 750 AM WNDZ. It covers the ​​Chicago area, northern Indiana, southern Wisconsin, as well as some areas in Michigan. The program deals with topics of spirituality, healthy lifestyle, rearing children, interpersonal relationships, marriage, and many other topics. Health Ministry
We believe in the holistic approach to the human body. Through our Health Club “Life and Health”, we promote the NEW START program (nutrition, exercise, water, sun, temperance, air, rest, and trust), the eight principles of a healthy life style. Each month we have at least one practical presentation from these areas as well as cooking classes. Twice a year we conduct a Health Expo in which we offer free screenings of the basic body parameters and counseling for a healthy life-style.
